Mwenyopaleka is an Oshiwambo word meaning “revitalisation”, but it can also be used as a synonym for rebirth. The Mwenyopaleka Programme is a long-term strategy launched in 2004 to instil the Group’s vision, mission and values as well as the associated behaviours in the hearts and minds of each employee in the O&L Group. Over the past few years, the Mwenyopaleka Road Show Programme has allowed the Group to promote and communicate these objectives to employees.
The main purpose of the Programme is to -

move from a rule-driven to a value-driven employment relationship, gaining long-term employee commitment, and

use our vision, mission and values as drivers in achieving all goals for the “Growth Through Change – 2011” Project.
